Aims

  • Revegetate riparian zones along the Warren and Donnelly Rivers using 600,000 local provenance species of native plants.
  • Improve restoration technologies through demonstration sites and strategic plantings suitable for scientific analysis.
  • Scientists from CSIRO and DPaW are also carrying out research related to resilience of native plants to future climate changes, local native plant provenance genetic and related area in conjuction with the restoration program.
  • Engage the community in revegetation activities.
