Aims

  • To provide coordinated, regionally focused management to control feral pigs threatening biodiversity and primary production across the Southwest
  • build on current successful community-based feral pig control programs, WCC will assist the formation of the four new community-based groups
  • coordinated trapping across all land tenures; management and training of trappers; trials utilising infra-red thermal imagery; collection of biological information; increased surveillance of illegal relocation and activity
